Looking again at the statement of the angel, a BUT separated the today and tomorrow of Mrs Manoah.

Moses, dear Moses (2)

I find myself so sentimentally attached to this world that I cast out the devil each time he brings the thought of having to leave it behind for a New Jerusalem somewhere. Well, someone just whispered that such thoughts are from the Holy Spirit and not from the devil.

When a male is not a MAN

It takes the wisdom and courage of a man to run a home. It takes a spirited effort of a man to stand noble and faithful to the wife of his youth. A male husband will flirt with anything in skirt (although they now come in trousers). A male father is what every child should pray against and may God please answer such prayers.

How did she break the good news to your mother? “Mummy, your worries are over. The king’s daughter wants you immediately at the palace.” Saying it this way would have confused your mother. Mama would have wondered why being wanted at the palace was good news to Miriam. It would have been ironically confusing, because at this period in history, I guess, no Hebrew gets excited visiting the palace. Being wanted at the palace can only spell T-R-O-U-B-L-E! There are many issues here for my consideration, yet there are few matters that border on the pattern of Jesus’ discipleship, His consistence, wisdom and self-effacing attitude, which I need to note for my journey and labour.

The first thing that struck my heart is the kind of knowledge Jesus had about the situation He found Himself. I notice that Jesus did not just know that the Pharisees heard that He made and baptized more disciples than John, but He also knew how they heard it.

Why should I be carried away by what a man knows or says about me and I will…
